Our History
GSSE was registered as a company in 1984. Two years later, current Director Phil Harvey and his partner acquired the business and established Prestige Tennis Courts, a court construction company. Phil also served as the Secretary to the Court Builders Association QLD for two years. In 1991, the focus shifted solely to expanding GSSE, leading to the cessation of the court construction operations.
In 1995, GSSE moved from its original premises in Slacks Creek, Brisbane, to state-of-the-art facilities in Brendale. This move was followed by a decade of growth, culminating in the development of in-house sandblasting, powder coating, and expanded fabrication capabilities in 2005.
Phil Harvey purchased the business in its entirety from his partner in 2001 and was soon joined by his wife, Anne Bourke, in managing the company. Under their combined leadership, GSSE has consistently certified its equipment through accredited engineers, ensuring all products meet or exceed Australian and international standards.
